In April, 1906 Ellen G. White was granted a vision foreseeing the destruction of the city of San Francisco. Two days later, an earthquake struck, leveling the city. Once again, Ellen G. White had somehow seen into the future.

A must read! This book is an unbiased summary of all the known modern prophets or supposed seers of today and sheds light on what a true prophet should be. I believe God expects us to truly study the background of how to tell a true prophet and God has something special in store for those who do take the time. God bless as you read, but please do!
The Author presents Ellen White's prophet gift that guides one's search for God's Truth of love to save Mankind from death and destruction. The condition of our earth today shows that, left to his own willful ways, Mankind will destroy God's gift to us. God continued to send us Prophets like Ellen because of his undying love of us. He promised that the Holy Spirit would lead us into all Truth and it is evident that she was led by the Holy Spirit in her visions and teachings.

This book is a must read for understanding the most gifted woman in recorded history. I highly recommend this book. The author did a great job digging into the life story presenting all the details for us in vivid color.
A book about how an un-educated girl became the most prolific writer in history, used by God to tell the world how to better live. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and gathered many pointers to keep my health in older years. I am now 79 and still able to work 12 hours a day without tiring. I have no illnesses that require a doctor. Anything this woman wrote is worthy of reading, especially Counsels on Diet and Foods.
This book provides the background to understand who Ellen White is in her actual place in history. I have been apprehensive about her writings, but this book has opened my mind to better understanding of what her experience was and why her message is valuable.
