I'm somewhere between a like and an okay on this one. It seems to be a May-December thing since Jesse is just 18 and Kenneth is said to have gray in his beard and temples (and refers to himself as old). I liked both Jesse and Kenneth, as much as there was to know about them. There was a lot more to Kenneth's story that was begging to be explored but was untouched. There were lots of plot holes. For instance, there are strong dreams that are obviously supposed to be pre-cog but the guys don't seem to realize "hey you're my dream guy" (and some things they included don't match reality). There is a lot about the far-fetched danger plot that makes no sense. And what happened to those howling wolves? On the other hand there were some nice moments between the guys and I guess that's what I liked about it. As a warning, there was a lot of cheesiness at the end. I know, though, that it can be hard to get "touching" just right without falling into sappiness. I really enjoyed the first in this series, really disliked (and didn't finish) the second, and now this one is sort of weak. I have KU so I'll guardedly give another a try and hope that the series fulfills its original promise. Note you must read the others in the series to have an understanding of the cultural, political, and historical situation.

It is well written and I love how it develops the charters from this book but also ties in with the previous characters from the last two books. Love the serious so far and look forward to more.
This story had me on my toes. The love that was found and lost will have you wanting tho find out what will happen next.
This is book #3 in The Mountain Shifters. This story between Alpha Kenneth and Omega Jesse was straight to the point. There were some trouble making, confused Betas mixing things up. But that didn't slow this couple down much. This was a fast paced story. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS EXCITING SERIES!!!
A decent story, Harlequin style. My dislike is the "omega" character carries female characteristics. Within the story he swoons, the sex has female descriptions, he displays his wedding ring to the group, and the other omegas follow suit.
